End of November 2011, the contractor finished with my attic. The interior finish would be my cup of tea.
Between the work of the contractor I have in one weekend the electricity installed. If electrical engineer is the least you can try.
The list of what I had to do:
- the iron fencing. My local construction company had welled it for me.
- leveling up the floor so high that the mounting bolts of the fence in the floor were no longer visible.
- seam sealants and paint walls, then the sockets / switches installed.
- to make the high sleeper and the frame of the fence of hard maple. This is the same type of wood as my staircase.
- desktop of birch plywood with laminate
- to finish with white perplexed plates of the fence and stairwell. A plane in the fence is transparent
plexiglass finished so there is a look to kitchen and thence to the outdoors through the sliding doors.
- laying a beige linoleum floor with crocodile print
- window frames with white laminate finish
- stairs bunk and plexiglass handrail assembly to the overall finish.
For Christmas I had finished my work. One difficulty was to make the view of the high sleeper so
that no fasteners such as screws / bolts on the wide maple plank were seen.
